The Unavoidable has Happened
Grey skies and off-white walls
A perfect setting for breaking hearts and knives to the back
Our blood hits the blank tiles simultaneously
In different time zones
And on the radio Our song
The one we sang along to
Before it got so fucked up
I bite my tongue and swallow hard
My teeth stain to crimson
I wanted to say I love you

Twinkle, twinkle, little boy
Don’t you know you’re just a toy
Wrapped around the publics wrist
Never thinking that you exist
You go through life never knowing
Having nowhere to be going
All the while constantly dreading
That which were you think you’re heading
Deepness, being that as your fate
Tell me what it is that you hate
Your future to always be a mystery
As you learn about it from your history
Survive this life and it will do good
Even being always misunderstood
You’re meeting all the people who are nice
But, never seeing them more than twice
Take all this life and make it worthwhile
It can happen if you go that extra mile
We will all go an extremely long way
Just to have our very own day
Our fifteen minutes of this fame
Don’t they always come with shame
Get a taste and you like it a lot
Are you really able to be bought
The end is now what to do
Have it depend only on you…..
First Poem I ever wrote.... At IHOP one night, after a contemplative look at my life.

Stars glint and gleam above
Wind whips through tired trees
All in the world knows love
The sun rises, sees me on my knees
"You smile wide, son,
For having seen night
so empty because I was gone
Why do you greet my first light?"
"I greet you this morning
Because you've always come
The stars saw my hope forming
That again, I'd see the sun,"
The sun wandered his daily rounds
Over me, and all the lands
I stood on green, wonderful grounds
And watched him drift through my hands
He sinks behind the mountaintops,
The stars knew to have their way
Twinkling, jumping little hops
And the stars knew it was their day
Dark stretched, pushing light to its least
The stars soon felt dark and alone
but still I sat, facing happily the east
And before I knew it the light had grown
The sun saw me once more
"Son, how long was i away?"
"Longer than before,
But now, friend, it is day!"
I noticed this place growing cobwebs, so I thought I'd crosspost this. Y'know. For aesthetics' sake.
I hope you like it.

Alrighty then.... We should change the color settings of this place... Ack to Sunny and Bright!
Its more of a deep thought and sitting around pondering life's problems, then posting about ways to better everything...
Lets get some blues, dark greens and greys.
Only a suggestion of course.
